Raw Brussels Sprout Salad

Ive always loved Brussels sprouts and finally figured out how to eat them raw. I'm trying to eat a huge green root-e salad for lunch and this is what I've been craving everrry day.

Brussels Sprouts
Stalk of Broccoli ( because what else do you do with them?)
Cucumbers optional

Honey mustard dressing. ( Raw Recipe HERE)
(I'm totally guilty of using regular mustard with white wine vinegar and honey but next week when i go shopping I'm going to make my own.)

Savory Carrot Soup - original recipe from Raw Food Book.

This is such an easy snack! I through it all in the blender and had it between meals!

1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 carrot
1 teaspoon honey
2 pinches cardamon
pinch of clove
1 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of ginger
handful of dates

Throw all in high food processor blender and top with sliced macadamia nuts.

Mushrooms Marinade- Mushrooms + Cold pressed Olive oil + Nama Shoyu + Lemon Juice.
I hate mushrooms and this... this is amazing on salads, in tacos and in any other mixture. Add some red pepper flakes to spice it up.

Vegetable Marinade - I don't know why I never thought to marinade vegetables and simply eat them raw. Cut your favorite veggies ( I've been experimenting with leeks) slice into bite size pieces and flavor with your favorite seasonings for 8 hours. The best part... if you don't like them.. cook them up for your husband!

Raw Protein Power Bars! Mine don't look as pretty as I hoped butt they are delicious!

The video I had watched used Dried Cherries so I used dried cherries and then when I ran out I used the rest of a date mixture I had already had in the fridge. I'll definitely be making these again because they are irresistible!

2 cups Dried Cherries, 2 Tbsp Water & Honey mixed in a for processor until bound together.

Fold in - 1/2 Cup raw quinoa + 1/4 Cup raw pumpkin seeds
+ 1 Cup chopped Almonds + 1/4 Cup hemp seeds + 1/4 Cup chia seeds

Form into bars and place in a dehydrated overnight. Keep in refrigerator up to one week.
If you don't have a dehydrator you can place in your over at 114 degrees.

This recipe is completely altered to be raw from a not so raw recipe HERE

Frozen Cacao Bananas

Like I said in earlier posts we buy cases of bananas and freeze most of them. I've been craving all sorts of sweet to go along with all my marinades. I've had a lot of Facebook messages asking about some raw snacks and these are the absolute EASIEST thing ever.

First Here are the incredible benefits of Cacao and why you should go get yourself some. Raw Cacao is one of the best sources of magnesium found in nature. It contains high amounts of calcium, iron, copper, sulfur, zinc and potassium. It also contains alkaloids, proteins, magnesium, beta-carotene and about 7 more huge words that improve your mental well-being that I could tell you but you'd have to go look up what each of them means as well. So in short its a pretty incredible super food!

Slice Bananas + Add 1/4 cup Cacao with a little bit of water until liquid. Drizzle over bananas.

You can add some fun ingredients on top.( i.e coconut, chopped nuts, pure maple syrup.)

When your craving ice cream go eat as many as these as you want! Guilt FREE!
