One Item In, One Item Out
We have a thrifty Tuesday post! Its on Wednesday but hey, its still here!
I try my best when I thrift to live by the "one item in one item out" rule. I'll be honest this doesn't happen every time but its super easy to feel like you all the sudden have all of this "stuff". Right now I'm trying to be really picky about what I send out because like 50% of my dresses don't fit me right now or they do and just look, awkward! So I have a TON of stuff in my closet that isn't getting worn and probably won't until next year. BUT if i was to take it down and pack it away I would probably freak out and feel like I have nothing to wear. I don't think I could ever be one of those girls who lives off of the 30 pieces wardrobe or does capsule wardrobes. It's just not in my blood! Maybe one day, with enough therapy ill get there lol. But the one item in, one item out rule is really great to keep in the back of your mind while thrifting. Ask yourself what can you donate in your closet and give back! Even if thats giving clothes to friends, I for one LOVE LOVE LOVE giving clothes to friends. It makes my heart so happy to see them wear something and love something that just sat in my closet.
and now if you want to read what I posted about on instagram the other day. I talked about how clothes are just clothes and style is embracing yourself you can click on this little link here
